Canada Day!
A few pictures from the fireworks at Canada place in Vancouver today.
Happy Canada day!
A few sunset shots from the beach sunday.
First attempt at Tilt-Shift Photography. From a picture I took in kobe, Japan.

Denman Street was closed to cars sunday so Jean, Cynthia, Manu, Carole and I went for a little walk. After Hanging out on Denman we went to the beach to meet up some other friends. Here are the pictures.
It was a Beautiful Sunny day so Fay invited me to spend a lazy afternoon sun bathing. Of course my Camera joined me. Enjoy the pictures.
I photoshoped most of those pictures to give it a ”urban” fell too them. Hope you like it!
Just another day doing a little snowshoe around Cyrpress, this time Michelle was the leader and took us to great place as you can see the in pictures. The view was breathtaking.
A
Little walk around china town. I took a few pictures, I tried the kit lens that came with the camera and I didn’t really like it. I’ll stick to my personal lenses next time. Nevertheless here are the pictures.
Last week I went for a little walk(shopping) on Granville Island. Of course I had my Camera with me so I took a lot of pictures. I played with those pictures a little bit this week and I was playing around with the filters, mostly the warming filter and the deep emerald filter in Photoshop. I like the results, I will use them more often from now on. :)
So Vancouver has been covered by fog for about a week now. Cindia and Alex invited me to go Snowshoeing on Cypress mountain and once we got there we realised that the fog wasn’t in the mountains. As you can see in the pictures Vancouver is totally covered by fog and it was an amazing sight. Good thing I had my camera.
Enjoy :)
I walked around downtown, mostly the west end, and took some pictures while the beautiful snow was falling. It is so much better than the rain. Let it Snow let it Snow!!!
Today was a nice day with some sunshine…. On top of that it was the Vancouver Santa Parade so I took out my Camera and went on West Georgia to have some fun.
Enjoy the pictures :)
So since Kenneth and Brynner are in town we rented a car …. and the last one they had was a big old Lincoln Town car. If this car is lacking seriously in style it sure is comfortable. :)
After being stuck at the us border for 3 and a half hours we finally made it on the the other side. Seattle is a beautiful city, very clean and a lot less homless than Vancouver. We arrived Friday night so we just took the evening to walk around and go eat at a local ”trendy” restaurant. Good food and nice crowd.(for some reason that restaurant was serving poutine) Anyways Saturday morning we went back to the fish market, maybe you can see in the picture, this is where they toss the fish from the front to the desk. This is also where they have the first starbucks….. After walking around the fish market we headed off to the Seattle Art Museum, nothing extraordinary to see there so walked all the way back to the space needle. After walking around Seattle we were already back on our way back to Vancouver where we stopped at the Outlet mail. Unfortunately no good deals for me.
Enjoy the pictures :)
This weekend was a long one so I had planed to go to Seattle for the 3 days, but at the last minutes we decided not to go… I had to plan something else. My friend Sasha came over from Nanaimo to look for apartments. I took Saturday afternoon with her to walk around the west end to see if we could find a place. She got lucky and she found something pretty fast.
Sunday morning I went for crêpes and right after, me and Xavier went to the aquarium since we had never been there yet. It was a bit small and obviously over priced, but it was very nice and interesting. The pictures speak for themselves.
After the aquarium we went to Canada place to check out the fireworks for Canada day. Nothing extravaganza, but it was a nice evening out.
Happy Canada Day everyone
