Some Montreal Night Shots
It had been a while sine I took some photos so I thought I would have a little trip around Montreal with camera saturday night. It wasn’t the best day to take some pictures, but I did manage to take a few good ones. I played with lens blur in Photoshop quite a lot.
Hope you like the results
Mont St-Hilaire
On this beautiful Saturday after noon, Flo, Simon and I went hiking on Mont St-Hilaire which is about 20 minutes away from Montreal. It’s a beautiful little mountain which is a MCgill research centre as well. For more information on the mountain click here
Of course I had my camera, so here are a few shots. I did a few Panoramic as well.
Enjoy!
Kamouraska – Micro Brewery Breughel
Beautiful little village of Kamouraska about an hour east of Québec city on the south shore of the st-Lawrence. We went there mainly to visit the wonderful little Micro Brewery called ‘Breughel‘. The weather was a little grey, but it didn’t rain. here are a few pictures. Sorry I am in none of those pictures. I was, of course, behind the lens.

View of Montreal from habitat 67
Here are a few night pictures of Montreal taken from the top of habitat 67, enjoy
Walking around
Here are a few pictures from walking around Montreal today. It was bad weather for pictures so I played around with photoshop. I was using my 50mm f1.4 and as you can see I went crazy on the DOF
Enjoy!
Occupy Montreal
So I had the afternoon free so I took a walk down to square Victoria and took a few shots of the people at #occupyMontreal. Lots of people, lots of tents and very well organized! I wish them good luck and offer them all my support.
the Lake House
Finally I got to spend a bit of time at the Lake house doing nothing at all. Marie, Asako, Xavier and Teni joined me. We had a lot of time to do absolutely nothing. It was great!
Québec City And Area
I started off my vacation slowly in Montréal, but Sunday came so I decided to give her a ride back home to Québec city and bring back Asako since she was traveling there. I spent half a day walking around and the next day we went to the Shrine of Saint Anne de Beaupré which is this huge church where miracle happens. After that, we went to the st-Anne’ canyon which is a sort of ‘’capilano bridge’’ for people from Vancouver. Just much cheaper and in the middle of the forest.
I had forgotten my camera so I will use Asako’s one. Enjoy
